As part of the UPDATE, you are told to rename the file "command.pub.sys". At the end of the process you are told to purge the "new" command.pub.sys and rename yours back. If you forgot the second step, do it now and your UDCs will be magically back. If you forgot the first step, you need to RESTORE your command.pub.sys from a backup tape.
