10.37 I’m confused about what an Express Release is.

From CSY’s Jon Cohen:

An Express Release is the coordinated development and release of a PowerPatch and Subsys tape containing new/updated HP products. An Express Release gets its name from the PowerPatch that is being developed for release with the Express Release.

Note that things do not always work out this way. MPE/iX 5.5 Express 4 had no subset tape because it was discovered after the naming decision was made that no subsys tape was required. MPE/iX 6.0 Express 1 had no Subsys tape because, well, HP got confused and did not send one out (the only thing on it was JDBC).
