DEVICE Computers take information, move it, save it, and do
a lot more. Devices are equipment connected to the
computer so that you can put information in and get
                   it out again.

Device include:

            YOUR TERMINAL (screen and keyboard)
            A PRINTER
A DISC DRIVE or MAGNETIC TAPE DRIVE

How many terminals are attached to the computer you are
     using? How many disc drives?

You don't have to know. But the computer does.

The solution is to give names (and sometimes numbers) to all
the devices your computer uses. The names might seem a
little odd at first. To have something printed, you have to
know the name of what you want printed and the name of the
device on which you wanted it printed.
