                  COMPUTERS WILL UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT
ONLY WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN PROGRAMMED TO UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT

The HELP program is designed to steer you toward the right choices. For
example, the HELP program would take a perfectly good English sentence
like the earlier example and do something like this to "diagram" it for
you:

"GO [UPSTAIRS] [RIGHT NOW] [TO {YOUR/MY/THE} {BEDROOM/BATHROOM}]
          [AND BRUSH {YOUR/THE DOG'S} {TEETH/HAIR/CLOTHES}]."

** GO is required -- without a command, nothing can happen.
** [UPSTAIRS] or any other (combination of) word(s) in brackets [ ] is
optional. The command will make sense even without the word(s)
    surrounded by brackets.
** {YOUR/MY/THE} and other words inside braces { } are required. We
used the slash to suggest making a choice. In fact, the choice is
simple: use one of the words, but ONLY one.

Now wait! You've got {YOUR/MY/THE} inside [TO....]. Shouldn't they be
optional?
