                        THERE'S JUST ONE PROBLEM
There is no MPE/iX command called GIMME, or anything like it.  If you
ask HELP for something that doesn't exist, it will assume you made a
mistake.  Then it will show you an error message and wait for you to
make another choice.

But, let's pretend that typing HELP GIMME really could give you a HELP
entry for the command GIMME.  It's easier to start with something that
looks familiar.

   IF MPE/iX HAD A COMMAND CALLED GIMME, HELP COULD TELL YOU ABOUT IT
    You'll see the colon (:) prompt at the left edge of your screen.

:                        =========>>  this tells you you're in MPE/iX
:help                     ========>>  you typed HELP (lowercase works)
:help <RETURN>             =======>>  you just pressed <RETURN>
                            ======>>  you'll see the first HELP
                                        screen and the > prompt at the
>                                       lower left of your screen.
>gimme                       =====>>  you typed the name of a command
>gimme <RETURN>               ====>>  and you pressed <RETURN>
                                                ...Please press <RETURN>
