THERE'S A QUICK WAY INTO HELP AND BACK OUT AGAIN Suppose you are busy writing something with the program EDITOR You don't need to leave the EDITOR program just to get into the MPE/iX HELP program. Instead you can take a quick detour. The prompt for EDITOR is the slash mark ( / ). /:HELP <RETURN> That's all. Type the colon (:) HELP <RETURN> The first Help screen will appear, with the HELP prompt (>) in the lower left corner. Then type the command name you want to find (you can add a KEYWORD: PARMS, EXAMPLE, or OPERATION) and <RETURN>. HELP will find the entry. Look up commands until you want to stop. You can go right back to EDITOR. Just look for the HELP ( > ) prompt. Type E or e and press <RETURN>. You'll be back in EDITOR. ...Please press <RETURN> Back to Main Index
