THE COMPUTER NEEDS YOUR HELP, TOO...
                        Does that sound strange?

o The computer has no way of guessing what you want. Your commands
to the computer have to be EXACT.

o SPELLING counts. The computer understands only certain words. But
you have to spell them EXACTLY right (upper- or lowercase is okay).
Sometimes words are squeezed together without spaces. And that's
how the computer expects to see them.

HELP IS A DICTIONARY OF MPE/iX COMMANDS

You can look up commands and find out what they do. That
means learning the parameters of the commands. They're in
here, too. More on that later.

And you can find out how to punctuate the commands you want
to use. Sorry about that -- commands are fussy about
     punctuation.

For now, though, HELPSTUDY will be more useful, so please press <RETURN>
